This route was planned by komoot.
Morning hike with the OG Tettnang from the Swabian Alb Association on the local hop trail🍺🫒 starting from the 🅿️ Hop Museum via AP Dieglishofen, Bernau, Brünnensweiler Höhe chapel through hop and orchards 🍎🍏🫐 and concluding with a lunch stop at the newly built Hopfengut Nº20.
Well ... GPS doesn't do it as soon as I stop. It was actually a kilometer less 🙄
A leisurely walk with a great opportunity to stop off at the Hopfengut. The path is very sunny and you can learn a lot about the cultivation, harvesting, storage and processing of hops.
I am happy to give this round provided by Komoot 5 stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I added the castle to the tour, as well as the small grotto in the middle of the forest. Much of the lap is on asphalt, the rest on gravel paths. There are plenty of places to rest and display boards to learn a lot about hop growing along the route. Who wants: In Tettnang a city tour would be offered. Lots of cafes to sit outside.
An easy hike through the hop gardens, with a bit of forest thrown in as well. Unfortunately, the paths are mostly asphalt, with only a nice trail in the middle section. On the hills, you have fantastic panoramic views of the snow-capped Alps, across the hop fields to Lake Constance. The last few photos were taken in Tettnang's old town without recording. I haven't figured out what the colorful pigs mean yet.
... Hopfenpfad Tettnang "own version" - delicious & musical stop at Hopfengut No. 20 ... with house-made Black Ale and herb risotto with wild broccoli + grilled white & green asparagus 😋... well attended due to a concert by the MV Kehlen with compositions by Ernst Mosch ... 😎
... when the shadows are getting longer and longer and the sun disappears earlier on the horizon, you also have to create unconventional ways after work and starting points to switch off ...
The hop path in Tettnang is a varied hiking trail between the hop fields and orchards of the town. Since the hop and apple harvest is now in full swing, the hike was particularly entertaining. There was also a lot of interesting information to learn about hops during a guided tour and beer tasting at the “Hopfengut No 20”. But the many viewing points towards Lake Constance and the Alps also provided additional highlights.
