Hiking

On the 1.9-kilometer-long trail, you have the opportunity to enjoy nature and try out a variety of exercise elements with your dog. The offering includes 10 elements, including a bridge, a seesaw, a balance log, and a jumping obstacle. All elements are constructed from natural wood and thus blend harmoniously into the surroundings.

Important information: First, dogs must be kept on a leash from April 1st to July 15th. Second, the stations are for four-legged friends only and are not play equipment for children.

The names of the ten stations are:
1. Gap Walk
2. Wobble Board
3. Through the Gate
4. Seesaw
5. Balance Log
6. A-Wall
7. Stepped Hill
8. Bridge
9. Hurdles

Highlight • Trail

The Dwergter Hunderunde (Dwergt Dog Run) is a varied, approximately two-kilometer-long loop through a beautiful forest.

There are ten stations where you can do exercises with your dogs, such as seesaws, slaloms, balancing, climbing, and more.

The dog course begins directly at the "Große Tredde" parking lot, diagonally across from the forest playground.

This station on the Dwergter Dog Walk requires balance. It's called the wobbly board and challenges your four-legged friend's stability. Can your furry friend manage to take a few steps on the wobbly board or maybe even ask for a treat while sitting?

Through the gate – that's the command at this station of the dog walk. With or without a reward, the goal is to lure your four-legged friend through the wooden gates. Can you position yourself on the other side of the three gates and let your dog run through all of them on his own?

Dwergter Dog Loop: Seesaw Station

Highlight • Rest Area

The fourth element of the Dwergter dog walk is the seesaw. Familiar from childhood, a wooden board floats to the ground, sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right, of the tree trunk. The first challenge: getting your dog onto the board. The second challenge: getting him or her to walk across it without jumping off the board during the pivoting moment.
