I had never heard or read Gamrig before, although this vantage point is so close to Rathen - THE starting point of the tourist highlight Bastei. This circular route, found again on the side of the Saxon Switzerland National Park, is a relaxed forest circuit past the Amselsee, with the final highlight Gamrig.
