Cycling tour in the Borken district – 50 km of pure relaxation In beautiful cycling weather, we cycled about 50 kilometers through the Borken district: starting in Rhede, continuing via Burlo to the Gemen youth castle, through Borken to Pröbstingsee. The tour led through diverse landscapes, small, well-kept towns, and repeatedly offered beautiful views into the distance. Very nice easy round. Lots of quiet branch lines. Wonderful views along the Aa. The pharmacy garden at the Holtbach spring with the old buildings is worth seeing. We did this tour at different times of the year, always nice.
Today we were on the Flamingo Route and part of the Bocholt Aaradweg on tour. A very varied and beautiful tour.
Very nice tour from Weseke towards Burlo. Continue via Rhede Vardingholt to Bocholt. Past the Jungendburg Gemen back to Weseke. For the most part, the tour runs on compacted surfaces. The tour along the Bocholter Aa is a single highlight.
