This enjoyable bike tour takes you to the Untere Schranne, to the turquoise Walchsee lake, and through the species-rich moor landscape of Schwemm. It starts at the Untere Stadtplatz in Kufstein or at the nearby train station. You cycle along the Inn a bit out of town to the bridge over the Kaiserbach stream.
You say goodbye to the green river for now and follow the circular tour through an idyllic forest and meadow landscape. With views of the Kaisergebirge mountains, you turn off at the village of Brand towards the Ledererwirt.
(After a small refreshment, you start the ascent to Durchholzen. On the following section, you will enjoy beautiful views of the Walchsee and later jump into it. You ride a loop around the clear water, then dive into the Schwemm moor landscape. Take a break there and learn about this rare natural area. A wonderful descent along a stream follows back to Brand. The Inn accompanies you on the last kilometers back to Kufstein.
