Whether with or without electric assistance, the Sulztal Valley, with the Amberger Hut as its destination, is guaranteed to delight. The further you ride into the mountains, the wilder, more untouched, and more alpine the landscape becomes. Once you reach the hut at 2,135 meters, you can recharge both your e-bike and your calorie reserves.
The tour starts and finishes at the free parking lot at the Längenfeld sports field. From the valley entrance to Gries, the route leads you through dense fir forests. From the Sulztalalm, it becomes more open and barren. The rushing Fischbach stream accompanies you the entire way.
Please note that the Sulztalalm will be closed in summer 2025, so you'll have to bring your own water bottles from Gries to the Amberger Hut. To arrive by public transport, take bus 320 from Ötztal station, which will take you to Längenfeld in 45 minutes.

Great e-bike tour from the center of Längenfeld to Gries and via the Sulztalalm to the Amberger Hütte. Fantastic weather and beautiful landscape.
Beautiful route with beautiful views. A lovely stay with delicious food
I only knew the Amberger Hut in winter from ski touring, but it is also impressive in summer to stand at the end of the valley in the middle of the three-thousand-meter peaks. Since I had already been here, I also made a detour to the rustic and cozy Nissl Alm
