Hiking
On this entertaining tour, you'll first be treated to spectacular views of the Baltic Sea, followed by mystical sites and fascinating insights into the past. It starts at the famous Königsstuhl Skywalk, the suspended viewing platform that offers breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea and the imposing chalk cliffs. Here, you can enjoy the vastness of the Baltic Sea before setting off.
Your hike will mainly take you through the ancient beech forests of Jasmund National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011. After just under a kilometer, you'll reach the mysterious Herthasee. Its dark, boggy waters originate from glacial meltwater, giving it a mystical atmosphere. Surrounded by dense beech forest, this legendary place invites you to pause and reflect.
Just before your destination, the impressive megalithic tomb of Hagen awaits you. Dating back to the Stone Age, it tells the story of the region's early settlers – a fascinating relic from times long past. After about four kilometers you finally reach your destination, the large parking lot in Hagen.
