Today I went on the Regionalparkroute Rhein-Main, which is about 190 km long and which I divided into 2 stages. I started in Ginsheim, not quite at the Mainspitzdreieck, because I've been there often. I knew most of the first third, and also bits and pieces in between. But I was really positively surprised. The paths are great, the signage probably too, but I can't do it without getting lost :-) and my saved tour wasn't quite right sometimes either. But overall, that wasn't a problem. 95 km and 600 meters of elevation gain are almost the maximum my battery can handle. I like to save 10 km. However, there was constant headwind today and I had to pedal quite hard, even with my e-bike, because I knew I didn't have much leeway. And I neither saw nor found any charging stations on the map beforehand. I hope the wind doesn't turn and I can cycle back to Ginsheim more relaxed tomorrow. https://www.regionalpark-rheinmain.de/portfolio-item/regionalpark-rundroute/ 190 km of landscape experience The Regionalpark Rundroute is the core of the route network in the central conurbation. Here the circle closes, visible and experienceable for everyone. Starting at the mouth of the Main, the circular route leads through the landscapes of the Vordertaunus, over the wide views of the Wetterau and the large forests south of Frankfurt to the Hessische Ried on the Rhine. Over a total of approx. 190 km, it connects orchards, fields and wetlands, works of art and historical evidence, but also viewpoints and play areas repeatedly open up new perspectives on the cultural landscape surrounding us. Step outside with us, directly into the green, and experience diverse leisure activities on the route in our varied Rhein-Main landscape.
