Today I tried out the newest Teutoschleifchen (Teuto Loop). Some sections of the trail will be familiar if you've already hiked the other Teutoschleifen (Teuto Loops) around Tecklenburg. Overall, a beautiful trail, but it also has some challenging sections (Witches' Kitchen, Heathen Temple). Due to the dry conditions and the fairly heavy foliage on the steep forest sections, surefootedness should not be completely ignored. I found it slippery in places on the steeper sections. This, along with my somewhat heavy legs, is also why I was going at a slow pace today. 😉
