The Obersimmental Panorama Tour delivers what it promises: magnificent views in an idyllic landscape between Saanenland and Simmental. It's worth planning a full day for the 1,300-meter-high loop.
The view doesn't come entirely for free, but even on the first climb from Gstaad up the Hornfluh, you'll enjoy beautiful views…

Very nice tour with partly paved roads or gravel paths, classy descents and a unique panoramic view. The first 6 km run along the Simme. From Sankt-Stephan it rises steadily to the Rüwlispass. From here you can either go down towards Gstaad or on to the Hornberg; from there towards Gstaad or Schönried. The next few kilometers from the Rüwlispass to the Hornberg restaurant are only slightly uphill.
Annual tour with our best friends, and as always, it's a very funny affair, there's a lot of spotting, etc. As far as biking is concerned, there are big differences, so..... women & men, but in the end we all got home safely. Luke the youngest, hats off to what the technical driver can do.👍🤗
Enjoyed the nice weather again, easy tour over the Rüwlisen Pass to Hornberg. We drove a few short trails down to the valley.
A wonderful evening round with buddy Hämpel. It has dried off a bit, but it's still slippery in the forest trails.
Clear. Everything is edible - but some maybe only once 🤪 Experienced another inspiration from @TinkaBuster today in the best mountain weather. 🤙🏻 The pass and lake are definitely worth another visit #haveagoodtrailday 🤙🏻
The tour was originally planned differently, but due to forestry work, plans had to be changed. So we headed over the Rüwlis Pass towards Hornberg. At an altitude of around 1,800 m, there was still snow, and the trail had only been opened on Friday. There's actually a nice trail down from Hornberg, but I had to change my plans again because of the snow, so I couldn't get back on the trail until an altitude of around 1,600 m. Later, I did half of the Simmental Trail and took the forest road towards Ried.
