This route was planned by komoot.
Komoot switched on again 🙄🙈but if you know the tours...hiking, biking...you can bike without an app...but today in my hometown 2.0 Komoot again...small dog ride 🐕🐕at the Skrelifallan waterfall.... Here it is not possible to convey in pictures how mystical, troll-like beautiful this area is... whether biking, hiking or by boat 🚤 ..... it's worth a mention... and a trip... "yes it is there are trolls" 🧌and honestly... here you forget about time and are in the "here and now"... ❤️
The approach is adventurous. An extremely narrow road later becomes a gravel path/field track. From the parking lot, after 100 meters, it's beautiful, and after 200 meters, it's sensationally 🥰beautiful. The huge, endless waterfall slides down into the fjord. Then, increasingly arctic vegetation—one lake more beautiful than the next—and a rock garden. As if trolls had murmured. Wow!🤩
Beautiful and easy hike. We followed the advice of many Komoot hikers and walked the tour anti-clockwise. This tip is complete nonsense. If you go clockwise you can see the great waterfalls straight away and can decide whether you want to stay there or wait until the end. If you go the other way you don't pass the waterfalls at the beginning and you have challenges following the markings
Hike on polished rocks past four mountain lakes and finally the "water slide" of the Skelia waterfall.
A nice round, wonderful view. Be careful when it rains, because the rocks are very slippery, the paths become small waterfalls 😉. You have to accept a few hurdles, scrambling is the order of the day here. Twice I had to take our dog under my arm and carry it. Everything is possible, it wasn't that bad. We were always rewarded with an excellent view. In summer it must be fantastic, the lakes invite you to swim. We really liked it, even if the weather was changeable.
