Today we set off on an enduro loop around the small town of Terlago, beautifully situated in the mountains above Trento. The area here is scenically beautiful, with fields dominated by vineyards, fruit trees, and haymaking. The views of Paganella and Canfedin—which we'd previously only seen from the other side, from Dolomiti Paganella/Molveno—were magnificent, the villages absolutely picturesque, and even the uphill was a delight, even if one or two of the steeper ramps had Madame cursing a bit 😂 The first part of the descent to the idyllic Lago di Lamar is rather unspectacular (S1). Perhaps our offbeat "singing skills" were even more spectacular, as we're up here in bear territory, so we occasionally sang along when the trail was confusing, so as not to give the bear an unpleasant surprise (and he wouldn't give us one either 😉) 🤣 From Lago di Lamar, it's another steep climb and then along rustic paths to the descent via the Castelo Trail: This is a truly great enduro trail that couldn't be more varied. There are flowing sections with banked turns, even a larger table, but also technical sections with rock slabs and ledges (S2). Here and there, a rock invites you to try your hand at small jumps. A really fun affair, before we returned to our accommodation through idyllic fields and villages 😊 All this in 25 degrees and sunshine - for us, the biking summer has begun ☀️😊☀️ And of course: La Dolce Vita 🥰 To go with that, I've added photos from yesterday's dinner at our highly recommended accommodation, Agriturismo la Corte dei Ciliegi, where we were lovingly looked after in a family atmosphere 😊
Medium difficulty route partly on asphalt but mostly on paths and single track with some technical sections.
