The circular tour from Château-d'Oex takes you along quiet back roads and beautiful gravel sections through the canton of Vaud. From the secluded Alps to the banks of the Saane River, you'll enjoy the idyllic landscape.
The starting point is at the Château-d'Oex train station, which you can easily reach by train from Montreux. On the Route du Mont, you'll pedal leisurely up the mountain and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the meadows.
A little later, the route becomes more technically challenging until you reach a paved cycle path along the Saane River. This will eventually take you over the Turrian Bridge, an impressive suspension bridge dating back to 1883, back to the starting point. In Château-d'Oex, you can enjoy a delicious meal at the end of the tour.
