Radbus Tour von Tarvis zum Ossiacher See

From Lake Ossiach, you'll take the bike bus to Tarvisio in Italy, and from there, you'll follow rushing rivers back to your starting point. Your cross-border bike tour begins in Camporosso, west of Tarvisio (Tarvisio). You'll follow the magnificent Alpe-Adria Cycle Path along an old railway line, first to the beautiful town and then towards the border – with gentle uphill and downhill sections. In Thörl-Maglern, you'll return to Austria: The Slizza River changes its name here and becomes the Gailitz.

You'll cycle past Arnoldstein with views of the Dobratsch to Villach. A wonderful section awaits you along the Gail River, where the cycle path runs directly along the water and offers many rest areas. After crossing the Drava River on the Peace Bridge, you return to Lake Ossiach via Landskron – with its mighty castle of the same name. If you still have the energy in your legs, follow the bike path around the beautiful turquoise waters.
