The easy lake tour starts at the tourist information office in Faak am See. The cycle path takes you along beautiful trails to great rest and bathing spots by the turquoise waters.

Right from the start, you cycle through a shady forest, which is especially refreshing on hot summer days. The cycle path then leads you to the lakeshore, where you have a magnificent view of the water. At the Egger Marterl rest area halfway along the route, it's worth stopping for a moment to enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains. A giant photo frame encourages you to take some lovely pictures as a souvenir.

The cycle continues past beautiful bays back towards the starting point. Before you reach the end of the cycle tour in Faak am See, it's worth stopping at one of the bathing spots for a refreshing dip.

Sounds good: around the Faaker See, but unfortunately there is only one place you can actually get directly to the shore and parts of the circuit are more suitable for hikers (e.g. gravel, see photo).
