Trail Reviews

The island is a great destination for a half-day, leisurely trip. The trails in the forest give shade before you fall, and the coffee stop is a pleasure. On the eastern side, along the Vistula Przekop, there is a new (2022), smooth bicycle path with a fish bar near the ferry. The pearl is the Seal Łacha on the top of the western shore of the Przekop. Approx. 1.5 km along the shore, but not very difficult to travel by bike due to the stones and sandbanks. The end itself is closed for the protection of flora and fauna. At the end there is an observation pulpit from which you can see the Seal Paddock. About 50 seals sunbathed on it in the May sun. But without binoculars, the sandbank looks like a gray, rocky mini-island. These are densely packed seals :-). Binoculars highly recommended.
