This scenic hike starts at the Hotel Chasseral, which can be reached either by bus or is perfect for an overnight stay. From here, the trail leads directly to the summit of the Chasseral with its striking radio tower, considered a symbol of the region. The view extends far across the rolling Jura hills to the Alps.
The trail follows the Chasseralgrat, a ridge with spectacular views of the Three Lakes region and the Fribourg Prealps. Along the way, the Alp Les Colisses de Haut invites you to take a break – in summer, you can fortify yourself with regional delicacies and enjoy the alpine ambiance.
The descent finally leads to the Bellevue bus stop, where the tour ends. Those traveling by public transport should check the timetables in advance, as bus connections to the Chasseral are seasonally limited.
