Four hairpin bends lead you steeply and directly up the narrow road from Amsteg into the beautiful Maderanertal Valley. After the village of Bristen, you'll follow the turquoise, rushing Chärstelenbach stream, passing countless cozy chalets and farms.
The deeper you descend into the valley, the wilder and quieter your surroundings…

An absolute mega tour 💝 💪 🍀 🌞 Incredibly beautiful, this Maderaner valley.
Fantastic tour 🚵♂️🌞🍀🥇💖🔨 Although on asphalt, the ascent from Amsteg to Bristen is spectacular. Like a balloon you climb 400 meters in altitude in a short time. You climb the following 500 m on a car-free dirt road. For your effort, with an average gradient of 15% and at the end even 25%, you will be rewarded with a sensational view. You really deserve the pit stop at the Edelweiss mountain inn. Pure idyll reigns at the Golzerensee, enjoyment is the order of the day! The finger test says the lake is very warm, there is also a lot of bathing here at 1,411 m above sea level. M The most beautiful part of the tour begins at the Legni inn. Up to the Hotel Maderanertal you move on romantic paths through unspoilt nature. For dessert there is a fine single trail. Not difficult, but not for beginners either. Thanks to Bruno and Michael for accompanying us. 🥇
