The tour is extremely well signposted, and since I went on a weekday, I was almost alone. I'd describe the difficulty as easy, but you should wear sturdy footwear, as the wet ground can be slippery at times. The trail is also suitable for families with active children or dogs; there's a special path for cyclists that's also suitable for strollers. A lovely little circular tour, easy to do even in sunny weather, as you walk entirely through the forest, or when you don't have enough time or the weather for a longer hike. Highly recommended
A very nice tour through the "primeval forest" of the Bavarian Forest. This round tour starts at the train station with the buzzard sign and the reference to the Schwellhäusl. There are specially marked trails for hikers and cyclists. Please sturdy shoes and possibly sticks, which are advantageous when going downhill as the paths are criss-crossed with roots. Have fun on this rustic tour
The boy wanted to do a "fog tour" today (for whatever reason 😅), but unfortunately it didn't work out because we had great weather on our "Bussard" round trip 🌞🌲 The tour officially starts in B.Eisenstein and leads over the Hochbergsattel to the Schwellhäusl and after a delicious lunch over the iron cross back to the hiking car park (free of charge)! The climbs are manageable and relatively short, so almost everyone can enjoy the beautiful Bavarian Forest autumn on this tour at the moment! 👌🍂🍁🍄
Nice hike. Always follow the buzzard, but the signs were only missing at the beginning. Worth seeing border station. Good refreshment stops at the Schwellhäusl, sunny beer garden.
Nice easy tour with great refreshment stops in the Schwellhäusl
My boyfriend actually wanted to go skiing on the Arber today, but it was packed there so we went hiking for a bit. We can definitely recommend the Schwellhäusl in Bayerisch Eisenstein for a stop. As a newcomer to Upper Palatinate, I was very happy about parts of the Goldsteig. We first did the Waldmausrunde and then the Buzzardrunde (or Falke? 🤔)
