I believe that whoever planned this tour has never ridden a racing bike. The climb from Rencio to Soprabolzano is prohibitive for almost all amateur cyclists. Parts well over 20% and very often over 15%. In addition, some dirt sections make everything even more difficult. This part is definitely suitable

April 30, 2024, Chiusa Collalbo Longostagno Barbiano Villandro Chiusa

Circular tour with departure and arrival in Chiusa in South Tyrol. I set off towards Bolzano on the cycle path, which was beautiful, especially the passage through the tunnels. Before Bolzano the not constant but beautiful climb towards Renon begins. Transit through Collalbo then Longostagno with a beautiful road. I continue towards Barbiano with nice steep sections. In Barbiano I decide to go towards Villandro. The road goes up a beautiful bridge and a nice steep stretch up to the crossroads for the Villandro Alp. I turn right through Villandro and am in Chiusa. Nice ride, nice climb, really worth it.
