.... with a previous shopping tour in the Fiassa outlet....😆🙃
Today the tour had to be a little shorter. The fresh snow had turned the smaller mountain paths (at least for us lowlanders) into a challenge. Knee-deep in places, but always well-cushioned :) Particularly beautiful: the Saloberalm and the Alatsee. A walk through an enchanted, white fairytale landscape.
Steep, crisp ascent to the Salober Alm. Made a break there and from there hiked a narrow path over stones and roots to Austria/Vils. An interesting path for our children. From Vils it then goes up a little again to the Alatsee, which is beautifully idyllic and surrounded by mountains.
We descended to the Saloberalm and over the 4-lake view to the castle ruins in Vils via a very exciting path, before returning back up to the Alatsee.
Escaped the fog and enjoyed the beautiful weather again. Nice circular hike from Vils to the Salober Alm, then the view of 4 lakes (but I only saw 3) then to the Alatsee behind and back to Vils. 😎 🏞
