Hiking
Like a natural amphitheater, the Käsberg falls steeply to the Mundelsheim Neckar loop and forms a spectacular vineyard with its countless dry stone walls. On this circular hike, you can look forward to almost uninterrupted, wide views.
The tour begins in the town center of Mundelsheim. You quickly leave the town behind you and are now surrounded only by vines and stone walls. The latter are often decorated with flowers in different colors; even prickly pears and fig trees thrive here due to the warm, dry microclimate. You can also often observe the animal inhabitants, the numerous wall lizards.
You follow the long curve of the river loop, first in a westerly direction, then on the way back one level higher in the opposite direction. You can enjoy a particularly beautiful view from the Käskanzel, which is also ideal for a small picnic. Back in Mundelsheim, you pass through the historic city gate, take a look at the pretty half-timbered houses and try the products of the local wine cooperative in the cheese wine cellar.
In summer, the Käsberg can act like a kind of parabolic mirror due to its south-facing location, so you should avoid hot, sunny days for this hike.

No, I didn't want to, it looks like it, but I'm not color blind. But it's really useful for hiking.
And to bridge the hour until our daughter was finally on the field, we took a little tour through the vineyards. I then realized that I was here …
