This route was planned by komoot.
You can find the video of the tour here on my YouTube channel 😉😊 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kt4PDmd0x4w
Komoot now has a new feature that eliminates the need to write comments. So don't miss it! Under the title is the report on today's wonderful tour!
Today was another dream day, even if we reached the limit of our strength in the end. A little more than 18 km of hike, which did not lead once on driveways but exclusively on hiking trails. At the beginning there was a steep climb. But even further on, the path was not always easy. As a reward, the mountains gave us wonderful landscape and nature experiences. After a good stop, we went back, where we could hop into the lake again.
Unfortunately, Komoot dropped out three times. Except for the height difference, nothing fits. We were on the road for a total of 10 hours and 30 minutes.
sorry ... a lot of photos so beautiful there, you can confidently go there and back the same way. From Gößl am Grundlsee, the path leads along the Breuersteig and then along path 214, mainly through the forest up to the Drosengatterl at 1390m. After a short rope insurance, open terrain begins in a gigantic mountain scenery, which is not a part of the European protected area for nothing. After crossing a gravel section, you soon reach the picturesque Vorderer Lahngangsee. After a further ascent you pass the Hinterer Lahngangsee (which cannot be reached on this path). Another short ascent and you are at the Elmgrube (junctions to other sizes in the area such as the salt oven). Now it's not far and after a short descent you reach the Elmsee with the day's destination behind it - the Pühringerhütte. After the break, today, for once, we go back on the same but worthwhile path and only in the lower section does a trip to the Zimitz-Alm follow, which unfortunately (already?) is closed today. So further down the valley to the Zimitz waterfall and then past the eerily creepy bear cave. After the last descent and a short stretch of road and a refreshment in the rusty anchor, the starting point is reached.
