March 18, 2023, Lychen & 7 Seen

What spring weather (and there was snow just a week ago). Based on a tour by @AnBa (many thanks) we went to Lychen today. The city, surrounded by at least 6 lakes, is a water hiker's paradise. I have already been able to paddle some of them myself using SUP. We started from a well-located and surprisingly free parking lot. The hiking trails are easy to walk on, but above all, a clear view of the waters is still possible at this time of year. South of Lychen, between the Großer Lychensee and the Zenssee, you can explore some small forest lakes (allow a little more time for this). In Lychen itself there is also a lot to see (e.g. the boat passage, the coffee mill or the buildings of the former sanatorium). - https://www.tourismus-lychen.de/gastronomie/gastronomie-details/lieferant/cafe- Kaffeemuehle - https://www.tourismus-lychen.de/freizeit/wassererlebnis/bootspassage-in-lychen.html - https://lychen.info/places/ehem-heilstaetten-hohenlychen/ A visit is always worthwhile. (Which is certainly not a new finding :-))
