The Haubergspfad 2 trail near Haiger leads you through the charming landscape of the Lahn-Dill district. You start the tour at the forest parking lot, which is also the starting point for the shorter Haubergspfad 1 trail. From here, you pass typical Hauberg areas, offering insights into the region's historical forest management. Beautiful hike in the Haubergen. Thanks to FC Niederrossbach, the trail is really a lot of fun and offers impressive views.
The markings are missing at a few junctions and here and there the trail needs to be cleared a bit or cleared of storm damage. Will definitely happen in spring.
It was a great hike 👍
