On this tour, discover the two highest and most beautiful waterfalls in the Bavarian Forest with the wildly romantic Rißloch waterfalls and the fairytale Hochfall. The “Bo64” marker shows you the way. Starting in the climatic health resort of Bodenmais, you hike to the first highlight, the rushing Hochfall. You climb up narrow paths to Scharebenstrasse and over the Moosbrücke to the Rißloch waterfalls.

On the way, two benches at the Sturmriegel invite you to take a short rest with an impressive view over Bodenmais. Finally, you go over the Hofwirtsteig into the picturesque Rißlochschlucht. The descent through the Rißlochschlucht takes place on steep, stony paths with a view of the rushing water masses. With a little imagination, you can make out the old ski jump at the end of the descent when you cross over to the paved path. Finally, you go back to the starting point via the Rißlochweg.
