The 51-kilometer-long tour starts at the Voglauerhof inn, first leads along the main road and then over the Lammer bridge. You reach an abandoned forester's house, where you turn off onto the old Postalm road. A fantastic climb on gravel with no car traffic awaits you here. The path winds along the Aubach through the shady forest and past the Aualm. On warm days, the small pools of the Aubach are perfect for a quick cool down.
After about seven kilometers, turn left and drive into the Ackersbachtal, accompanied by the idyllic river. A steeper section finally takes you to the Genneralm, where cozy huts invite you to take your first rest. After a short descent, you continue uphill on the Postalm road to the Zinkenbach bridge - a look into the deeply cut gorge is definitely worth a stop.
The landscape now opens up and the gentle meadows of the Postalm spread out. You follow the gravel path to the Lienbachalm and have a choice of various places to stop for a break if you feel like it. The way back is downhill on asphalt and always on the Postalmstraße until you arrive back in Voglau.
