Our bike tour will take us in 2021 from the Sinntal via the Maintal into the Taubertal. From there, continue on the Gaubahnradweg to Ochsenfurt and from there via the Main Valley back to the Sinntal. We started in Rieneck, where the cars also stayed behind. The second stage takes us along the Tauber from Wertheim to Weikersheim. The Taubertal Cycle Path, officially known as the Liebliches Taubertal, is a classic among cycle paths. Very easy to drive and leads through many places with sights.
Today Komoot crashed in Bad Mergentheim. So today there is "only" the planned track uploaded as a completed tour. We basically rode like that. Only in Tauberbischofsheim, Lauda and Bad Mergentheim did we deviate a little from the track to see more.

Today we're cycling the 5 ⭐️ "Lovely Tauber Valley" cycle path, and it's truly a stark contrast to yesterday's stage from Würzburg. It takes us across meadows and through forests, with the Tauber River mostly in view, and a church steeple is guaranteed to be visible somewhere on the horizon. The small villages and cozy towns with their red-blossoming chestnut trees make us feel like we're in the middle of a ZDF tearjerker. In the evening, we arrive exhausted in Weikersheim and dine on the historic market square.
Today we're cycling along the Tauber River through the lovely Tauber Valley, bathed in glorious spring sunshine. We started in Bad Mergentheim. After a brief town tour, we cycled through the beautiful park before returning to Wertheim on wonderful bike paths via Lauda and Tauberbischofsheim. A stunningly beautiful tour that I can recommend to everyone. 👍🌞😎🤩
