This route was planned by komoot.
We made this route with the MTB but it can also be done with gravel or a normal bike. Not with thin tires.
We ride the "Reigerroute" in the Meetjesland. Cycling tour with junctions found by my wife in the Libelle. We started the tour in Vinderhoute at junction 54 where there is sufficient parking space at the church. Cycling via Belzele towards Sleidinge along quiet gravel roads through beautiful nature reserves and along the Lembeekse forests. Around noon we arrive at the old station of Waarschoot where in the station building "Brasserie Lijn 58" offers us the opportunity to eat and drink something tasty. Despite the busy occupation, we still got quick service and ate and drank well. A must, this address! We started in Vinderhoute and followed junction no. 54-53-33-43-33-21-71-15-7-10-18-12-73-47-48-55-54-5. Route not recommended with a racing bike given the many gravel roads along the way.
Cycled to the route from Nevele. Beautiful route, lots of greenery and numerous paved roads and paths. Centrum Waarschoot was a bit disappointing.
