Route suggestion from Zeeland.com Unfortunately, the dike near Hansweert was being renovated, so we had to take a detour that was unfortunately barely signposted. Otherwise, a great tour, always along the water and through the mussel and oyster empire of Yerseke.
Cycling route "Salty route past mussels and oysters" Cycling through the green heart of Zuid-Beveland. The name "the blossom of Zeeland" reveals the village's uniqueness: expansive orchards full of fruit trees, producing a sea of pink and white blossoms in April and May. The largest national park in the Netherlands is partially submerged: the Eastern Scheldt. This former estuary is home to a treasure trove of plants and animals found nowhere else.
