Trail Reviews

Günhardt
July 13, 2025, 25-53, Tour de Kromme Rijn - Utrecht

Clouds and rain were forecast – but it turned out quite differently: beautiful, sunny weather. So, a bike ride along the Kromme Rijn – a popular way to explore the Kromme Rijnstreek region near Utrecht. There are various routes that lead through orchards, along rivers, and past castles and old fortresses. The "Tour de Kromme Rijn" is particularly well-known – a beautiful mix of nature, culture, and history. On the way back, we cycled through the historic old town of Utrecht. With its canals, it's a bit reminiscent of Amsterdam, but seems much quieter and more tranquil.
