Short tour to Hohenstein Castle through the Saxon Switzerland National Park. 🤩 Due to the severe weather warning from the German Weather Service, I skipped the Bastei and decided to shorten the tour. As predicted, it really came down heavily from above and I was glad when I could sit comfortably in the Café am Hirschgrund with a farmer's breakfast and a shandy. The restaurant below the Bastei is highly recommended. From the terrace you have a fantastic view of the Elbe, the hosts are very nice and the food tastes very good.
