Thursday and Friday were hiking-free days🚷 because we had to drive a somewhat longer distance by car 🚗. 🐖 because it drizzled almost all day on Thursday and on Friday Prince Edward Island opened every possible lock for us 🌧🌧. What a friendly welcome🤨. 09/26/2024: Alma 👉 Shemogue 09/27/2024: Shemogue 👉 St. Peters Bay Goodbye New Brunswick 😥 Welcome Prince Edward Island (PEI) I have included some pictures of photo stops in this tour for information😊. But now to today's 🥾 tour, which took us to Cavendish. The path was consistently made of firm, crunchy sand and therefore suitable for flip-flops🩴. You wander through bushes on a flat stretch and have beautiful views over wet meadows 🐟 and agricultural fields🍞🌽. At the end we also visited the small quarree at Cavendish Beach. Here there is a kilometer-long dune range and a corresponding sandy beach🏖. The hiking trail and the landscape are very different to those in the national parks in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. The big WOW came when one bald eagle 🦅 after another suddenly appeared 🤩😍. There were also a few other birds around, such as the American robin, the blue jay🐦 and the golden woodpecker🔨 CONCLUSION:🦅🦅🦅🦅 The laptop cannot find WiFi in our new accommodation😐. That's why the photos are not labeled and unfortunately mixed up😥.
