From the Flötztalhütte, the current marking is shorter. At the Waldhaus Mehlmeisel, I saw that we had almost walked the old route. This would have gone as far as Ahornberg. I took a shortcut at the mill. After that, I found many old painted markings.
This was my oldest saved tour from 2022.

Car park just after the Hölzlmühle near Ahornberg.

Through the Schilmbachschlucht to the Bayreuther Haus, from the Klausenturm we enjoyed the wonderful view today.

Continue towards Roter Fels and over the Jägersteig to the Flötzbachtal hut back to the car park.

Always a wonderful route.

Sunday and wonderful hiking weather. So off into the mountains, more precisely Fichtelgebirge, on the Jägersteig and to the Klausenturm. The start was at the Bayreuther Hütte / Waldhaus & Wildpark Mehlmeisel car park. That's pretty much at the top, i.e. first it went down and then up again 🤪.
