A wonderful hike at the foot of the climbing mountains of the Tannheimer Group.
From the west car park in Nesselwängle, it is about 1 km relatively flat to the east. Afterwards, the path leads in serpentine fashion with a few steps, but is easily accessible, to the Gimpelhaus. The…

On the last day of our dad-child hut tour we even arrived in the valley dry and without rain 🌧️ 👍 Huge respect to the two mountain dwarves 🙏 that was really an 🔨 achievement 💪👍 Despite the bad weather and the rescheduling, it was a mega dad-child hut tour, a 🔨 experience for all of us and we still had fun 👍👍👍😊We're looking forward to the next time😊👍😉 Greetings to everyone🙋
Collecting hut stamps and watching chamois at the foot of Roter Flüh and Gimpel. Simply beautiful!
Hello from Grän. A small first tour that unfortunately didn't end well. I represented myself so stupidly on the last few meters and heard a strange noise. Hope it's nothing serious. Ankle very thick and stepping is almost impossible. My landlady, who is so lovely, drives me to the doctor at 5:00 p.m. Keep your fingers crossed for me 🙏
From the start, it's a steep climb. Total ascent time: 1 hour, 24 minutes. Total descent time at a running pace: approximately 20 minutes.
We begin our three-week Alpine vacation in our beloved Tannheimer Valley. After a traffic-filled drive from Ulm, we don't arrive in Nesselwängle until 11:30. Luckily, we find a parking space and start the climb to the Gimpelhaus, where we reward ourselves with our first wheat beer. From here, it's not far to our destination for tonight, the brand-new Tannheimer Hut. Now, in glorious weather, we enjoy the view of (according to the website) 100 peaks and wait for dinner.
