This loop is accessible to all. Whether for a sporty outing or a family discovery of the surroundings of Hyères, you will find what you are looking for. The route is mainly paved but also has some sections of dirt track.
The starting and finishing points are at Hyères train station. From there, you set off on a beautiful loop made up of the most beautiful landscapes and ecosystems in the area, such as the Pesquiers salt marshes. This protected wetland is the heart of the Hyères ornithological reserve. You are sure to see the emblematic pink flamingo there.
The beaches are also part of it, particularly at Ayguade where you can swim, admire the kitesurfers, play beach volleyball or simply enjoy the view. Before starting the second part of the loop, take the time to visit the small village of Ayguade with its Provençal accents. Then, go back up the pine-lined cycle path that follows Avenue Decugis. This long axis is renowned for the presence of many fruit and vegetable producers-sellers. The opportunity to fill your basket!
