With over 1,000 meters of ascent and a length of over 100 kilometers, this scenic gravel tour requires a good level of fitness. The tour leads through the Murnauer Moos into the Ammertal. Via the beautifully situated Rotmoos-Alm it goes to Griesen and from there through the Neidernachtal. Once you reach the impressive Plansee, you head back along the state road to Linderhof. It is worth visiting the castle there. Past Ettal Monastery, you reach the Loisach Valley via the Ettaler Berg. Via Ohlstadt you return to the starting point.
A fantastic tour, first through the Murnauer Moos, then uphill to Bad Kohlgrub. After a quick snack in Oberammergau, the tour continues to Graswang, where you turn left toward Griesen. A dream, always uphill to the saddle, then down again and on to Plansee. The return journey is mostly on paved roads to the Ammersattel, Ettal, and Oberau.
