Great walk. On November 10th, boots were really needed in some places. I will do this walk again in the spring.
nice walk in the surroundings of Haacht. A large part of the route is in the woods and most of the time you follow either a canal, a river or a marsh. A lot of freshness is provided by the wetlands, with the occasional visit of mosquitoes. And let's not forget the impressive anti-tank canal that you follow for more than 2 kilometers (km 4). In general, a pleasant circuit, with several passages on duckboards, which you start at the parking lot of the Den Dijk sports complex.
Too bad, the cell phone battery flat at the last part. 🙄🙈
Walk from Wespelaar through 3 nature reserves and the center of Haacht. First we cross the Haachts Broek, over a few decking paths and through a grazing zone with sheep. We then follow the anti-tank moat to the Heerlijkheid van Roost, a former castle site. We pass through the center of Haacht and conclude with the Schorisgat nature reserve. Here we take a crossing that is in Komoot, but is actually not a real path, with a jump over a dry ditch.
