Hard road ride. Very good fitness required. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride. The starting point of the route is accessible with public transport.

This route was planned by komoot.
I took part in my first RTF, which I would summarize as follows: Good organization and routing saves on your own planning and with perfect weather and the right people, a round trip like this is twice as much fun! Denfeld in Bad Homburg organized an RTF with 40km, 80km and 120km, which was supposed to go through the Taunus - of course we chose the 120km, as it should be. The start for the four of us was at 8am, alongside a few other hundred riders who also lined up one by one (which meant the route wasn't overcrowded). The route (and signage) left nothing to be desired, the nature along the route offered a very beautiful backdrop and also a certain challenge due to the altitude. There were plenty of stops along the route to refresh yourself or refill your water, which, by the way, is very pleasant when you don't have to worry about water and food. Conclusion: A very eventful day paired with a challenging but wonderful tour and a very cool group. I'm looking forward to the next RTF!
A little ride in the Taunus with the gang... 🤣👌🏻 Thanks to @Tian and @Dirk "Bio Biker" for the photos and to the whole group anyway - as well as to Fahrrad Denfeld in Bad Homburg and the RFC Oberstedten who organized it so well 👌🏻 Unfortunately my pace today wasn't as great as I would have liked - but the main thing is that things are rolling again 🤘🏻🔝⛰️
Because we got to Werheim so quickly, we cycled the 120 km tour instead of a 75 km lap.
