Trail Reviews

Söhni 🏃
September 8, 2025, Der Brauersteig 🍺 (Hassberge Erlebnistour)

Delicious hiking from brewery to brewery. 🍺 Hikers can experience this on the Brauersteig trail. So today I was out again with my hiking friend @Kainacher, exploring and, of course, enjoying the culinary diversity of Upper Franconia's beer while hiking. The fact that we were also surprised by the Kerwa (fair) in Reckendorf was another highlight of the tour! The dark, tasty Kerwa beer from the Schroll brewery inn tasted exceptionally good at the end of our hike and has led us to plan another tour in the beautiful Hassberge region in the foreseeable future. Cheers 🍻 🍺 🍻‼️

The density of brewery inns is unusually high on this tour, so it's aptly named. Unfortunately, none were open; it's probably more of an afternoon tour; the first beer garden opens at 3 p.m., while the one in Reckendorf doesn't open until 4 p.m. Keep this in mind when planning 😉
