This route was planned by komoot.
https://youtu.be/f0_h7v3_D6o?si=txcoX8WFePkY1X_S A bit too much water after the rain but still a nice hiking area.
You can see the tour on my YouTube channel...My Hiking Day
walk across the heath, the leaves are off the trees. As a result, you can clearly see the Bosbeek between the trees. Around the Elfenmeertje and the Slenk, pruning has been done. Pines and other trees have been removed to prevent overgrowth. By keeping the area open, this is good for adders, frogs and lizards, etc.
Dear followers, I follow a speed walking course in the Maas valley every Tuesday. You could already see the beautiful surroundings in some reports as well as this walk. For my transplant friends I organize under the guidance of the trainer + former champion of the Netherlands - an introduction to speed walking and Nordic walking explained in the second slide on 25/5 at the Wissen in Stokkem-Dilsen (Belgium). If you feel like participating, that is possible. It will certainly benefit you. It helps me with my tendon problems and both for walking and running. That way we can also get to know each other...! After the coming weekend we will close the registrations and a few places are still open. Let me know soon at lodewijkpas@gmail.com . Contribution to training costs 7€. Catering at your own expense.
Beautiful non-strenuous heath tour without particular difficulty. Very interesting when the heather is in bloom.
Today I walked the second part of the Msinvennen. With an extra loop so that I also went to the Elfenmeertje and the Kombergen. Loop is not completely on komoot due to a small error. Beautiful route especially because the heather is in bloom everywhere, there were also many people on the road.
Purple, purple, purple…..beautiful purple. Purple all around me this morning in De Meinweg National Park. How beautiful the heath is in August. I'm early today, it's still nice and quiet. Enjoy that silence and the beautiful morning light.
Mönchengladbach (Borussen Hotel) came to Wuppertal and what could be more obvious than a hike in the border region between Germany and the Netherlands. Bog and marshland, sandy paths, almost no incline.
