Bike Ticket to Ride: Red

Up with the chairlift or gondola, down on fast single trails, and do it several times: The Biketicket to ride red tour promises pure pleasure on the varied terrain around Lenzerheide.

It starts with the chairlift up to Piz Scalottas, where you put on your helmet, gloves and pads and get ready for the slow descent. While you initially enjoy the panorama of the Graubünden mountain peaks above the tree line on easy and flowing trails, further down in the forest it becomes more technically demanding, steeper and the bends tighter. On the way between Parpan and Chur you can relax every now and then as you pass through some Mäiensässen, as the alpine meadows with the traditional mountain huts are called, before the next exciting single trail begins.

Pure downhill pleasure is also in store after the gondola ride up Chur's local mountain, Brambrüesch. Coniferous forests and meadows provide pure variety on the way to Churwalden. The Heidbüel cable car takes you to the final ride, a final trail takes you past Valbella to Heidsee in Lenzerheide.

For this tour, please note the following two restrictions on bike transport on the cable cars: Downhill bikes with double bridge forks are not allowed on the chairlift to Piz Scalottas and the gondola from Chur to Brambrüesch has a maximum weight of 25 kilograms per bike.
