Route inspection for #2️⃣1️⃣.0️⃣9️⃣.🚴♂️ Without time pressure & jostling 🚴♂️colleagues breathing down your neck😂 you can enjoy it differently.✌🏻 Start in glorious 15 degrees/drizzle, unfortunately the 2nd highest ⛰️ in the Erzgebirge was stuck in the 🌫️, but the dams 🤩 make up for it all the more.
So today it was the 50 km, and the weather was perfect for it. There was plenty of oxygen in the forest where the climbs were ↗️, and the descents ↘️ were nice and refreshing. I should have set off early again like I did with the 💯, because at this time and in this weather today, everyone was out of their holes 🙈 and thought they were alone. Well, I somehow managed it. Unfortunately, I let the traffic at Eibenstock lead me and missed the turnoff down to the wall 🙈, and thus I dropped from the top 3 ⃣ to 4 ⃣ with a time of 00:02:12 ☹️. Well, it was really cool cycling around our Erzgebirge again, and the DTM is still going on. Have a nice weekend, everyone 👋👋🙃
That was my DTM in Eibenstock! Crossed the finish line with flat tires! 🤪 but everything was good! Great event!
Last race in 2022 - the Drei Talsperre Marathon in Eibenstock. Optimal mountain bike weather: 7 degrees, rain and a decent wind :-))) what the heck. It was fun anyway. I started here for the last time in 2008. Still super organized.
The weather today was great for nature 🌲🌳🌲 - but it was pretty exhausting to get ahead 😉 - hats off to the guys who pulled the trigger for 100km - amazing. You also have to say thank you to the many volunteers along the route 👍😊
Auersberg had been on the list for a long time. I had loaded a tour and forgot to load it offline. where I noticed that only E reception was possible, so I just drove off. It went up and down and when I loaded the track at LTE reception I was far from the course. but at some point I was on the road and it was pure nature, but cool despite the sun at 930m altitude. The ascent over the Sauschwemme had made it without dismounting. The reward was a fabulous view, it's a shame that the restaurant wasn't open yet. The cyclist has to push over all 3 dam walls, but you can enjoy these structures. A nice difficult tour that needs to be repeated, now you know the way
