Silberkar Gorge

Highlight (Segment) • Gorge

A family-friendly hike of about 35 minutes, covering about 200 meters of altitude. Two waterfalls fall into the gorge, the approximately ten-meter-high Torbachfall and the 70-meter-high Schleierfall.

The water level of the Silberkarbach is unstable, as it is fed not only by rain and meltwater, but also underground through the Silberkarsee. The Silberkarhütte is located at the end of the gorge. It is an ideal spot for a snack with a beautiful view and a starting point for further hikes.
