Very nice hiking trail, sure-footedness required everywhere, I love my sticks. The path on the left is secured by a rope for two short stretches and leads up in serpentines with few steps. Once at the top, the three peaks can be reached with little effort. Descent from the Katrin to the mountain station are provided with many high steps. That's why I prefer to go around the round as recorded.

Phew, not long, but crisp, today we hiked up to over 1600m and conquered 3 peaks. First up with the Katrin cable car and then on the 7-Seenblick circular trail, I had some adventurous situations. Up here there was still a lot of snow in places where the sun hadn't really come out yet. Luckily, the trail always stayed in sight. The 3 peaks Katrin, Elferkogel and Hainzen could only be reached through the snow, but we made it 😅 the descent from Hainzen required a head for heights, it was very steep down there! "She" is down on her ass every now and then, sort of shifting gravity 😅🙈🤭 and "he" got hiking sticks beforehand today and lo and behold "it's not that bad, down the mountain they're really helpful" , well, yesterday's hike in the snow clearly showed how useful hiking poles can be 😁 the section of the route is rightly classified as "difficult" on Komoot! https://www.salzkammergut.at/oesterreich-tour/detail/430001598/hainzen-1638-m-elferkogel-1601-m-und-katrin-1542-m.html
I actually just wanted to do a "short" hike between checkout and check-in today. I was a bit surprised by the challenge and the magnificent views and vegetation. A bit challenging. It was a great day. Tip: When you buy a round-trip ticket, you get a free parking ticket for your car in the corresponding parking lot. But you have to ask for it.
A very beautiful hike for experienced hikers. The route is very adventurous and never boring, and at some stations you are rewarded with a breathtaking view. Dogs and people should be very sure-footed!

We want to be at home there. We made the most of the day of the journey home with a hike in Bad Ischl. Turned a wonderful little, easy round on the Katrin.
