So much beautiful nature. Feldberg or the town of Neustrelitz are good places to stop for a break. Café Tortenmarie in Feldberg is highly recommended. https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heilige_Hallen_(Mecklenburg) https://www.mecklenburgische-seenplatte.de/wandertour-heilige-hallen https://www.ndr.de/ratgeber/reise/mecklenburgische_seenplatte/Alter-Buchenwald-Naturschutzgebiet-Heilige-Hallen,heiligehallen100.html https://www.tortenmarie.de/?ved=2ahUKEwijtsbfnpKIAxUcSfEDHcsiKnYQgU96BAgoEAQ
I'm confused why the cell phone signature is suddenly on the pictures. Is this related to an update? Does anyone have an idea how I can change this? I do everything on Komoot on my cell phone. I'm grateful for suggestions 😃
The "Holy Halls" have been a nature reserve since 1938. The name came from the growth form of the beech trees, which formed a hall-like dome with their canopy. In the meantime, many of the trees are older and there is a lot of dead wood lying around. Many trees are older than 350 years!!!! It is still impressive, even if there are no leaves on the trees yet. Through the oldest beech forest in Germany. Mystical. It has been a nature reserve since 1849. Some trees are over 50 m high.
