Did a little hike along the Binnenmüritz on the first Sunday of vacation. The mosquitoes almost devoured us in the humid environment, we had very good timing for that. The rain didn't come until we got back to the car
Nice hike through the Müritz National Park, partly on the squirrel path. Free parking for hikers at the starting point. Unfortunately, there is not too much to see from the lake, as you cannot walk directly along the shore. Forest looks the same everywhere 🤷. For this, the “wrong way” around the small lake compensates you towards the end of the tour. Beautiful! I actually discovered a new hiking trail on the Müritz today. Although I grew up here, there is always something new to discover. It was dry and frosty but beautiful to walk on. I hiked part of the way here in August, when the colors were different. But every season has its charm.
