This route was planned by komoot.
You should be a good walker as there are steep places and you have to climb over many trees that lie across the path
super round! Single trails, paths and wide paths through the jungle. The vantage point is busy, but in the forest it was very quiet except for the chirping of birds and the buzzing of insects. Pure relaxation.
Nice round with children too. You can go up and down with the cable car
After a steep ascent, a break at the snack station - about halfway - is the right reward. Friendly hosts, inexpensive, simple food and cold and warm drinks. After that it's a leisurely descent. Highly recommended for hikers who are not afraid of a difficult climb.
Since the path was very muddy, we walked downhill on the tar road. The alternative forest path is very well signposted.
Hike from the top of the funicular back to the parking lot. Mostly on the Urwald-Edersee-Weg. Not suitable for strollers or white trainers
