This route was planned by komoot.
Today I walked the Kneipp trail. The Kneipp pools on the side of the path currently have no water. Nevertheless, a very nice round, on which the blue Kneipp signs catch the eye, which thematize health. The route usually starts at the Goethe fountain, where there is also a Kneipp facility. The round then branches off just before the Catholic Church on the street at the swimming pool.
The weather is cool...there are few people around. Bad Berka seems quite deserted...the surrounding nature is doing well.
Today we shot a little round of stamps ♟️ at Bad Berka. The sun even came out. We will visit the rhododendron garden again when they bloom... Then there will definitely be water in the Kneipp facility....
Otherwise we were always too late, this time a bit too early in the rhododendron forest. Some of the magnolias are still in bloom. There was a fresh meadow flower bouquet at the God's fountain 💐😃
The title or lead promises more than I actually did. I did walk the route, but I didn't walk barefoot on natural paths, nor did I paddle in the water with bare legs. Although I wanted to "cheat" with my picture. The hike was another Komoot-inspired tour. That's one of the nice things about newsletters, they're not always annoying. Today was my first day of hiking this year, where I had to expect winter temperatures. My clothing was appropriate. But I think, like every year, I have to really get into the groove to cope with the cold season. I'm neither a fan of summer nor winter. I like the seasons when they promise what they're there for. The hiking area around Bad Berka is definitely more beautiful than what I was able to experience today. That was because I just followed my nose without really looking closely at the route beforehand. My preparation was just the Komoot pictures. That didn't bother me, I enjoyed the smart winter forest and just went for a relaxed run. Live mindfulness training.
Today the focus was on Bad Berka. Nice little circuit with lots of ponds and beautiful nature. There are always benches to rest, enjoy and just relax. The paths are mostly gravel and asphalt and easy to walk without any special requirements. There is no "jungle" or "short-pants path" to expect. Overall, highly recommended. ✅🚶🥾 Don't forget your towel, because at the end you can cool off your feet by treading water in the spa park.💦👣
After Vicky and I hiked the circular route in April as a test, today was the day. The whole team explored the route together and was particularly enchanted by the rhododendron garden. The Kneipp pools were also well received. The grill hut at Dreiteichsgrund is a wonderful place for a social get-together. A successful and relaxed team day.
What is the best remedy for cold feet 🤔? Exactly... a mulled wine. But getting drunk first thing in the morning is only a short-term solution. So I decided to take a few more steps. And it was very nice. However, I felt like I was being followed. A liter of mulled wine can cloud your senses quite a bit 🙃. Happy Sunday everyone 🙋♂️
