Was a nice hike. Certain places went steeply upwards.
Wonderful hike, especially in these warm temperatures! ☀️ You hike to the Risleten rocks on a tarred road, mostly along Lake Lucerne. Then you continue on hiking trails. Immediately after you have passed the gorge, the path requires some stamina, as it overcomes about 300 meters in altitude in a short distance. After that, the hike is very pleasant with slight uphill and downhill sections. There are two nice restaurants in Volligen and Treib - in Volligen with a terrace overlooking the lake and in Treib directly on the lake. The return trip from Treib to Beckenried can be enjoyed in a relaxed manner by boat.
A beautiful hike with a view of Lake Lucerne and the Mythen. Unfortunately, about half of the hike is on a barely used asphalt road. For the other half, you should be sure-footed and wear hiking boots. After a steep climb, a great view of Lake Lucerne and the Mythen beckons. We returned from Treib to Beckenried by boat, journey time approx. 40 minutes.
For today's hike, I chose the Risleten Gorge, which I wanted to rediscover. My hike began in Beckenried and initially took me a long stretch along a paved shoreline path directly on Lake Lucerne. Although the path was paved, it was very beautiful thanks to the impressive view of the lake. After just over three kilometers, I left the shoreline path and descended into the gorge via a 111-step staircase. There, the waterfall formed by the Choltalbach stream awaited me, offering a wonderful view. Now, an extremely steep and strenuous, sweaty 😰 climb awaited me, requiring me to climb many steps. This way, I quickly gained altitude. After the challenging section, a beautiful path led me further towards Treib. The views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Lucerne offered almost continuous, beautiful views until I finally took the boat back to Lucerne in Treib. ⛴️☀️🥾
Somehow I can't get the photos in the right order today. On the map they are in the right place, but in the tour progress it's a complete mess. Oh well, not so important

Just WOW; it has everything to offer. Start at the lake through the quiet neighborhood, recreation area with super nice barbecue areas, then a slight climb away from the lake with beautiful views and then back down to the lake to the barbecue area at the dinosaur footprints. Also a nice place with barbecue
